Who is Dragon Heirz?

Dragon Heirz. or “Drag”, is the leader of the Divide and Glide crew. He believes himself to be the legendary “Eternal Dragon” of Skyriding. His team hails him as the enduring king and emperor of all current Skyriders.

Dragon and Skyriding

From the original Skyriding competitors, Dragon is the last one remaining. He and the original riders from “the Days of Origin” are responsible for the organization of this new underground sport.

Team Dynamics

Drag is a living legend and a king that rules with an iron fist. Drag’s team was one of the first formed 4 years ago. For the past 2 years, Drag’s team has won every competition since the incorporation of an official win count.

Who is Needles?

Needles is an impatient violent rider who would love nothing more than to crush his opponents by any means necessary. He earned his name because his presences makes you feel like you’re walking on pins and needles.

Needles and Skyriding

He was “discovered” and trained by Drag to be part of the team. Drag recruited him to instill fear in their opponents. There are rumors that he was responsible for ending a few skyriders’ careers from sheer brute force.

Team Dynamics

He’s always angry, yet, only Dragon can calm him down. His anger is so strong that Ladi only addresses him as “the rabid dog”.

Inspiration can be that elusive creature in the forrest at night that just pops out at you. You don’t even realize it’s there until it’s there. However with a few key practices any one can stay motivated. Here’s what I do while I work on Jack B: Ride The Air.

#1 | A Photo Blog

I, like most people, have a tumblr blog that just houses pictures that I find and like.

I also have a set of pinterest boards for a similar purpose.

I use them just to give me visual cues and to provide a starting point for any research I may do when create new art work.

#2 | Deviant Art

Community is uber important especially when your starting out and need people to bounce ideas off of. Deviant art is a place where some of that back and forth can be achieved.

#3 | Follow artist on Social Media

Once connecting with other artists and checking out their pages etc. you get to see a wealth of new artwork and progression work. It allows you to get in their head and as an artist it helps me solve my problems by looking at how others solved theirs.
