Who is Jill?

The self proclaimed “number 2” of the WeFlyHi crew. She is a popular, slick-talking, information-snooping, graffiti artist that loves to dance in the air. As a ballerina-gone-street, she uses her ballet skills to graciously move in the air.

Jill and Skyriding

Jill sees skyriding as a progression in movement and body control. More importantly, she gets to create artwork in entirely new spaces that were not accessible without skyriding. She sees it as a higher form of dance and art.

Team Dynamics

Her vast network of skyriders provides her with a sense of every team’s strengths and weaknesses. With her info-gathering skills, she loves to develop strategies with her crew. The only person she has friction with is Nikki, yet, no one is sure why.

Who is Turt Dirt

Turt Dirt is Divide and Glide’s secret mechanic. He gained his interest while working as a janitor at the Air Filtration Unit facility. After cleaning out the labs, he would spend hours recreating and altering blueprints for his own AF Units. He has a huge fascination with technology and young women, but being a dirty guy doesn’t help.

Turt Dirt and Skyriding

Turt Dirt witnessed the creation of the original skyriding boots. Prior to the discovery of stable flight capabilities, Turt developed a custom prototype. Afterwards, he developed a completely alternate line of boots structured differently than standard skyriding boots.

Team Dynamics

He’s not treated as a team member, but more of a tool when needed. However, he’ll make any upgrades and repairs for Ladi without hesitation. Though he’s a creepy guy, he fears Drag for some unknown reason.

Who is Ghost?

Ghost is, arguably, one of the best Sky Riders out. Ironically, no one  knows who this person is. Ghost earned his name from his fellow Divide and Glide member, Ladi, when she noticed the ghost on his gloves.

The Mystery

Every sky rider is skeptical of Ghost. It’s assumed that there is more about him than is known. Even Jill, WeFlyHi’s “Info Queen”, doesn’t have intel on him. Like a ghost, he fades in during a contest, and mysteriously disappears when everything is over.

Team Dynamics

One day, Ghost mysteriously appeared on the Sky Rider scene and rose to instant fame after nearly beating Dragon in a race. Even to this day, people say that Ghost let Dragon win. Needless to say, Ghost’s dedication to competing with Dragon has earned him a spot with the Divide and Glide crew

Who is Ladi?

She is the “queen”  to Drag’s “king”…or so she believes. Ladi forced her way onto the team after finding out that Drag was one of the original Skyriders. She’s a fiery red head with extreme loyalty to her team.

Ladi and Skyriding

Lady is the only person who has come close to clearing Nikki’s leaping record. Before skyriding, Ladi aspired to be a choreographer. Other riders often say that she has the prettiest sky riding style because of her body control and aerial grace.

Team Dynamics

She only listens to Drag and is rather combative with the other team members. Harsh, demanding, and skeptical, Ladi is the perfect right hand to Dragon.

Who is Jack B?

Jack is the chosen leader and founder of the WeFlyHi crew! He’s a novice sky rider with expert instincts. Nikki describes him as someone who’s “been riding his whole life but doesn’t have any memory of it.” Coupled with his iron will and good nature, he is an unstoppable force in the sky!

Jack & Skyriding

Jack started riding two years ago after seeing Nikki clear Johnny’s six-story building in one jump. After Nikki made his first official pair of boots, he began to practice with her until he mastered the basics. From there, he started improvising techniques and has created his own unique way of skyriding.

Team Dynamics

There is no WeFlyHi without Jack. Though he’s pretty laid back, he has a “never quit” attitude, and has a gravitating personality that lets him play the “connector” role. He has a knack for connecting with  wide variety of people and inspiring them to achieve great things. WeFlyHi wasn’t formed like most crews, but rather, bound together by Jack and his personality. Nikki made the official “we’re a team now!” declaration, with Jack saying “and We Fly Hi!”

Who is Moon?

An engineering prodigy, Moon is one half of the creative engineering force with his mentor Nikki Sky. As a kid with Genius level intellect he tends to use his skills for sake of childhood mischief. playful contraptions with suped up capabilities and littered through out his house. He comes from a long line of scientists and engineers.

Moon and Skyriding

Nikki had brought him into sky riding at the very young age of 4 years old. The AFTs he rode then were specifically designed for him and allowed Nikki to teach him the very basics of how AFTs are constructed and maintained. He’s actually rather decent but has no interest in the competitive aspects of the sky riding. Like Nikki he’s only interested in push the limitation of the tech.

Team Dynamics

As a brooding genius he is usually in a grumpy mood. Very snarky for a child, but when Nikki is around he sweetens up. Nikki’s bubbly attitude and emotional filled pleas toward her machinery, makes him laugh and forget all the logic running through his head. Johnny and Moon are a pranking duo with Moon being the brain’s behind Johnny’s many imaginative pranks.

Who is Johnny?

A self-proclaimed “ladies’ man”, Johnny is Jack’s best friend and the rebel without a cause. He’s always scheming up new ways to approach the ladies, but the real apple of his eye is Jill.

Johnny and Skyriding

He started at the same time as Jack, though he doesn’t have the same natural talent. However, he has developed quickly in his own way while training with Nikki. He works hard at skyriding and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. As Nikki puts it, “It looks like he’s flailing most of the time, but really it’s just his way of controlling how he rides. Underestimate him and he’ll pick you apart in the sky!”

Team Dynamics

He’s the team goofball. Light-hearted sarcasm and pranks aside, he’s a really loyal friend to his teammates. He’s really close with Moon (who happens to share his love of pranking). He has a huge crush on Jill and is not afraid to show it….constantly.

Who is Nikki Sky?

Nikki is the team mechanic and skyriding boot technologist. She believes herself to be a skyriding purist and won’t enter any competition. She only rides for the thrill and to push her limits. Instead of competing, she chose the engineering route to push the sport forward. As a result, she is partly responsible for the standard design elements of current skyriding boots.

Nikki and Skyriding

At 13, she was the test pilot for the first official skyriding boots. Her skyriding days were responsible for creating a common understanding of skyriding limitations, statistics, and records. Setting an undisputed record for the single highest leap (a twenty-two story jump) at the age of 16, Nikki has since earned the name “Sky”.

Team Dynamics

Nikki has a nurturing personality but with mad scientist tendencies. She’s always tinkering and creating new machinations on the fly. She and Jack have a very close mentor-to-student friendship. When he seeks clarity and logic, he goes to Nikki. She has a ton of optimism coupled with a bubbly personality. Though, this doesn’t always jive well with the other team members.

Origin

Bazooka is the gentle giant of WeFlyHI. As an ex-lineman, he’s used to running more than flying. During a crucial football game, Joe injured his left leg and broke his tibia.

Bazooka and Skyriding

Nikki witnessed his accident and created a special cast to help him heal quicker. In addition, Nikki also introduced him to Skyriding. To help him out, she designed his one-of-a-kind, three filter tank boots to up his mobility.

Team Dynamic

Bazooka is the calm, contemplative, realist. The name of his game is practicality and his motto is, “dig deep, push hard, and know your limits!”

Who is Dragon Heirz?

Dragon Heirz. or “Drag”, is the leader of the Divide and Glide crew. He believes himself to be the legendary “Eternal Dragon” of Skyriding. His team hails him as the enduring king and emperor of all current Skyriders.

Dragon and Skyriding

From the original Skyriding competitors, Dragon is the last one remaining. He and the original riders from “the Days of Origin” are responsible for the organization of this new underground sport.

Team Dynamics

Drag is a living legend and a king that rules with an iron fist. Drag’s team was one of the first formed 4 years ago. For the past 2 years, Drag’s team has won every competition since the incorporation of an official win count.
